Hello, sweets.

I’m Kathryn Hanna—founder, baker, and creative visionary behind Baked By Blondie’s Bakery Boutique, where indulgence is intentional, and every detail is designed to delight.

A lifelong dreamer with a refined eye for beauty, I’ve always been drawn to the art of presentation, storytelling, and experience. My love for baking was born in childhood, inspired by cherished moments spent sampling desserts with my beloved granny, from our local community to the magic of Walt Disney World. Though she passed away when I was just five years old, her spirit remains the sweetest part of my sweet tooth. 

Raised in a small town in South Carolina, I learned early that big dreams can bloom anywhere. I later followed my father’s legacy by attending the University of Alabama, where creativity, confidence, and ambition shaped my next chapter. It was during my junior year of high school—prior to college—that Baked By Blondie first emerged as a brand. What began as a passion project quickly evolved into a business as I advertised, sold, and distributed handcrafted desserts throughout my hometown, partnering with special needs organizations, local shops, and a growing base of devoted customers.

Beyond the bakery, my professional background spans the film industry, where I developed a deep appreciation for visual storytelling, atmosphere, and luxury-level execution. As a published model, I’ve cultivated a keen understanding of branding, aesthetics, and the power of first impressions. These experiences directly influence Baked By Blondie—each dessert is styled, curated, and presented with the same intentionality as a scene on set or a page in print.

Baked By Blondie’s Bakery Boutique is more than a bakery—it is an experience. My purpose is to create elevated indulgences that feel celebratory, personal, and unforgettable. Every bite is crafted to transport you, evoke emotion, and turn life’s moments—big or small—into something extraordinary.

A flavor that defines me:

If Baked By Blondie had a signature flavor that embodied my personality, it would be Malibu (Pinkfetti Cake Batter.) Personally, I’m an extreme girly girl who loves things all fun, festive, and of course pink! 

From set to sweets:
My film industry background influences my baking by giving me an eye for vision aids and the need for a dessert to not only delicious, but also looks dazzling.

Behind-the-scenes indulgence:
When no one’s watching, my go-to sweet will forever be macaroons.
